Site C Agricultural Leases

BC Hydro is offering leasing opportunities for agricultural properties in the northern Peace region. All properties are being leased as-is through an expression of interest application process. The land available for lease can only be used and maintained for agricultural purposes.

Eligibility

Each lease is a 5-year fixed term and cannot be modified. Please check the lease agreements below to ensure you've met all the necessary requirements.

Decision-making and timing

Each lease will be awarded based on a combination of criteria including the applicant’s responses to the questionnaire. The final decision is at the sole discretion of BC Hydro.

The successful applicant will be notified of the award decision and provided the lease agreement up to 30 days following the listing closing date.

If you're interested in applying for a land lease, please email us. Be sure to include:

• The completed questionnaire
• Your proposed rent price per year
• The lease reference code (i.e., LEASE-A or LEASE-B)
