The Site C project is being built to meet future electricity demand in B.C., which is projected to increase by almost 40% in the next 20 years. Site C will be the least expensive clean energy resource, it will produce the fewest greenhouse gas emissions, and it will produce clean, reliable and affordable electricity for more than 100 years.
